Re: Customer Service
Last week I was in Burnside and stopped for gas and got amazing full service. I had the good fortune to visit Bancroft's Auto Shell in Burnside, where they pumped my gas, cleaned the windows, headlights and tail lights - and they have a service bay! While paying for my gas, we had a great chat about 'service stations', even engaging the two other ladies who were there awaiting repairs to their car. We all agreed that older folks, those which arthritis and parents traveling with children really do appreciate a full service station. Our attendant expressed how important customer service was to him and that he wanted to keep the extra staff person employed. Yes, it may cost a couple more pennies, but in the end the service and personal contact at this station is amazing. I wondered if it was just me who felt this way, so I posted a picture of the station and posed the question, along with a recommendation for Bancroft's on our White Point Facebook Page. The comments lit up, all expressing the value of these stations. While that intersection has many gas stations, I'll be frequenting this 'Service Station' when in Burnside.
