Move caters to rapid growth, increasing volume in the region

Purolator's freight facility, previously located at 667 Barnes Road, Enfield, is now located at 220 Joseph Zatzman Drive, Burnside.

The new 7,300 square foot facility will help Purolator meet rapid business growth in the region and cater to increasing freight volume.

"This move was necessary to keep pace with the current demand we're experiencing with our premium less-than-truckload (LTL) service. It also allows us to continuously enhance service to our valued customers in Dartmouth and Halifax," says Jim MacIntosh, vice president of field operations.

With closer proximity to its customers, Purolator estimates it will reduce drive time by up to 20 per cent, which ultimately results in lower fuel consumption and reduced greenhouse gas emissions.

With 71 freight facilities across the country, Purolator offers customized solutions for all sizes of businesses; playing a key supporting role for inter-regional shipping.
